Ingredients

oatmeal
100g
sugar
40g
honey
1 tsp
lemon juice
1 tsp
unsalted butter
50g
cinnamon and black pepper
some
bitter chocolate
2 blocks

Preparation

Line the dish with cooking paper.

Method

Put the butter, sugar and honey in a heatproof dish and melt in the microwave.

Add the oatmeal and lemon juice.

Mix well and put half in another bowl.

Leave half as it is, and mix the spice and roughly-broken chocolate into the other.

Fill half of the dish with each mixture, taking care not to mix them. Smooth with a spatula and cook 25 minutes in a 180 degree centigrade oven.

Remove from the oven and cut into slices while still hot. Cool in the dish.

Store in a container with silica gel. Crumble the flapjack into a bowl and add sliced banana and milk for a delicious breakfast.
